Ashley Stubbert

Ashley Stubbert is an American music producer and musician working and living in Norway. He studied recording engineering at the Art Institute of Seattle and after graduation in 1997 began working in various studios in the Seattle area.
Beginning as an intern at the legendary Studio X in Seattle he was the assistant for many orchestral dates. He also began freelancing (still in Seattle) working with artists such as Subset (Sir Mixalot and members of The Presidents of the United States of America) and Soul Coughing. In 1999 he became the house engineer for Studio Litho in Seattle, where he had the privilege of working with Pearl Jam (produced by Tchad Blake), Limp Bizkit (produced by Terry Date), The Walkabouts, The Supersuckers, Nashville Pussy, Wayne Horvitz, Bill Frisell, Actual Tigers, Mayfly, Our City's Finest, and Sarah Shannon.
He has just finished production with Norweigian singer-songwriter Sebastian Waldejer to be released in May on CCAP. In addition he is the technical coordinator for Nordic Music Week (a new conference and festival focusing on collaboration between the Nordic countries).
